Mayan Chief Hacha, Veracruz, Mexico, ca 450 AD
A handsome and expressive "Hacha" in the form of a Chief from the Veracruz, Mexico area. The facial features are sculpted with realism and the ears are decorated with earspools. The top portion of the hacha was broken in antiquity and the break has become smooth and weathered. 5 1/4" height x 5 3/4" width.
