Olmec Jade Figure, Honduras, ca 500 BC

A rare Olmec blue jade figure from Honduras with arms folded into his chest.  This is a regional sculptural style.  The figure is carved from a celt and is depicted with decorated headband and squared off ears.  3 3/4" height 1/2" depth.
