Weeping Eye Shell Mask from Etowah Mound, Georgia with associated shell necklace. This motif is central to Southern Ceremonial Complex iconography and is said to represent a Warrior Cult. This motif is found on the markings of the Peregrine Falcon which is where archaeologists believe the symbol originates from. 5 in. (12.5 cm.) 3 3/4 in. width.
